Jon was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. From a young age, he was involved in sports and had a love for the outdoors. He excelled at baseball and continued to play through high school. After high school he chose to serve a two year mission for his church. He served in Atlanta, Georgia, where he became fluent in Spanish. Through his experience he realized his future career would be devoted to helping people. Jon has always had a love for learning. He attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for his undergraduate education in biology. He met his lovely wife in a general chemistry class. He later moved to Portland, Oregon and attended chiropractic school at the University of Western States. After practicing in Idaho for a few years, he felt the need to return to school and further his healthcare education. He attended the University of Science, Arts and Technology-Montserrat, where he received his degree in medicine. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Some of their favorite activities are playing at the park, dirt biking, camping, hiking, going to the zoo and the children's museum.
